2014 Grammy Antics
The 2014 Grammy Awards brought with them all the glamour and high powered performances that you would expect from the power night.
The red carpet showcased a buffet of designers with high voltage numbers, some of which left little to the imagination (to the relief and great thanks of teenage boys everywhere).
Beyonce may have made some questionable choices in agreeing to some rap lyrics with her husband on their on stage performance during the evening (giving a nod to domestic violence by rapping 'eat the cake Anna Mae' - a reference to Ike and Tina Turner) but her red carpet look was nothing short of sensational. Katy Perry looked positively demure in a floaty white number (which was a nice change). Madonna looked like a wax-work figure of herself (and seemed almost a ghostly figure on stage during the Macklemore and Lewis performance) and Taylor Swift looked pretty, if fairly restrained. Pink was pretty hot in red.
The performances of the night went to Macklemore and Lewis (joined by a smoking hot Miranda Lambert, a fairly wooden Madonna and an exuberant Queen Latifah) who used the performance as a serenade to 34 couples who were married during the show with Queen Latifah overseeing proceedings.
The other was Pink who once again showed us she is the master of performance throwing some shapes whilst hanging from the ceiling in an acrobatic and frankly jaw dropping rendition of her song Try.
