The pictures of fancy frocks on the Golden Globes red carpet for 2014 are endless - luxurious fabrics, gorgeous colours and beautiful designs lit up the evening. But it was a fairly plain black number at the InStyle after party that got tongues wagging (when attention could be drawn away from the dress in mention). The fact that the rather racy frock was covering the enviable body of Mirand Kerr of course helped matters...
The Golden Globes always attract a great deal of attention - partly due to their prediction of Academy Award successors but also due to the fashion hits and misses.
This year was no exception - with some fabulous fashion and big winners. Some of the big names who walked away with trophies were Cate Blanchett, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew MCConaughey, Jennifer Lawrence and Jared Leto (to name a few) with '12 Years a Slave' gaining top flick honours.
Kate Moss turns 40 in January. It's not depressing enough that the super model can still strut it in style, attitude and physique but she is set to grace the January/February 14 cover of Playboy looking smoking hot! What a way for the publication to celebrate 60 years!
Victoria Beckham shared a happy holiday snap via Instagram on December 12. Accompanying the caption, 'Christmas can be dangerous Fashion Bunnies!'. The 39 year old posed with a pink Christmas tree and even pinker background, decorating the tree on a ladder with some fairly serious heels!
The normally snoozy Winter Whites Gala in aide of homeless charity Centrepoint found itself in the middle of a wholly unexpected 'I wish I was there' moment when Prince William and Taylor Swift joined Bon Jovi to belt out 'Livin on a Prayer' to the (very lucky) crowd.
As per usual, the awards were not really about, well - the awards. The big talking points of the evening? Miley Cyrus performing in front of a big projected cat (which was kind of creepy) and Lady GaGa arriving on a mechanical horse (limos are so last year...). Katy Perry performed as a Geisha and GaGa channeled Marilyn.
