Christina Aguilera Dishes About Love Life With Ellen DeGeneres
Christina Aguilera stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show to promote her new show The Voice (premiering tonight) and talked about her love lif and her infamous lyrics flub singing "The National Anthem" during the Super Bowl.
"You have a new boyfriend," Ellen DeGeneres asked Aguilera, for an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Tuesday.
"There is someone very lovely in my life. Yes," answered Aguilera, referring to her boyfriend, film assistant Matt Rutler.
"That's all that matter's is that you're happy," said the host. "It's hard. Divorce is hard."
Aguilera, mother to 5-year-old son Max, whose dad is her ex-husband, music executive Jordan Bratman, acknowledged, "It definitely is hard."
"You deserve to have fun and date and stuff," said DeGeneres.
"Absolutely," Aguilera concurred.
Asked about the Super Bowl incident, Aguilera said, "That night I knew, I just made myself a Trivial Pursuit question ... 'In 2011, what female singer, ya know, flubbed the lyrics.' "
